I don't think he ever was. I was watching a interview he did with a news station out of Pittsburgh, and he said that he wanted to be such a good role model that if he was in a restaurant and he was offered a drink if there was a kid also in the restaurant he would not accept it. He said he didn't want to set a bad example for the kids. Anyone that cares that much was always a face.
