Otunga, honestly, isn't good enough in the ring to, uh, pump Cena's sneakers...
But really, even when he came up, Cena had at least a slight idea of what he was doing. And Cena's is a shit ton better than what we are actually allowed to see in the ring as he has had some great matches here and there.
Otunga, on the other hand, seems to have the posing aspect down, and that's about it.

I agree and have said it for a while. He's only getting a push and will continue to get such becuase of his fiancee. No other reason beyond that, at this point in time at least.
Don't get me wrong, I get what they see him. He's a good looking guy with a different look about him, has got a good build to him that seems athletic enough, and he's already decent enough on the mic, not to mention tv exposure.
On the flip side of that, as I already stated, he is good for nothing but posing in the ring. That's it. His spinebuster is sloppy, and really, who does a spinebuster for a regularly used finisher? He's a botch waiting to happen, which isn't entirely his fault. It's creative's fault for putting a guy who's well too green to be in any sort of position of relevance on television when they're not ready.
That being said, he's getting pushed to the moon and back when he cracks an official roster.
