There is bobcats in the game. Probably not the ones that mauled your horse though, as I always confuse them with foxes.
Jumped in a free roam yesterday for a bit, and noticed a group of like 5 people all together with the skulls instead of the dot. Was like what is this? So I travel over to where they are, and see that they're inside this huge fort shooting down the entire mexican army. Being the up standing citizen that I am, I sneaked in through a hole in the side of the fort, and proceeded to assassinate one of them. Was killed trying to get the others, but had the most amazing time charging the fort trying to kill them while they where freaking out. Also dynamite is pretty awesome.
