Read what I am saying. I never said games following the same engine were bad per se. Fallout 3 and Oblivion I both thought were great. Both Uncharted games I thought were great. I haven't got God of War 3 yet, but the first two were excellent. It comes down to whether the gameplay has mileage or not over whether I feel I enjoy the game or not.

I had hoped the RDR would not be basically a GTA sequel in a new outfit, given that the publicity expressly stated it would not be. I expected similarities but it's essentially a sequel/prequel whatever.
