A Muldoon-like character who had a bit more bite to go with his bark might be a plus. Of course, he should get clever-girled in the end, but not without a bigger fight.
I actually think a story about the rival company Dogdson worked for developing their own Jurassic Park ripoff (with all new suprises) would be the best idea.
It's better than the main characters getting sucked into the original park (or one of it's convenient new sites) again.
