Griffey Jr and the 1995 Mariners team are the only reason the Mariners didn't move from Seattle when the city refused to pay for a new stadium.

Griffey Jr was amazing in the '90s and crazy how after the 1st year with the Reds he basically began to fall apart injury-wise. No question without a doubt that he would be the current home run champion and maybe be near the 1000 HR mark by now if it wasn't for injuries.
