Been watching NXT with my girlfriend. She's not a wrestling fan at all, but she started to get used to the "reality" aspect, and she was actually interested in some of the rookies after a while.
She came home from work at like 10:30 last night, and I'm watching RAW, telling her how absolutely horrible the show has been up until that point, and maybe I ought to just turn it off. Then Punk wins the vote, and she sort of likes Punk from his NXT stuff, so I figured I'd at least see how this stupid train wreck of a show ends.
And then the best ending to a wrestling show in the better part of a decade happens and, honest to God, I think they may have turned my girlfriend into a wrestling fan last night.
