I can't help but feel a little leery every time they do a hostile takeover/invasion/make a statement/whatever storyline.

There will always be this one fleeting moment of awesome, which is good. But if next week they have Wade Barrett come out and it turns out he planned this with the rookies just to make a statement, and nothing more than that...they will have just wasted their best angle in nearly a decade.

Fortunately, the conclusion of the NXT Season 2 premiere is making me think this will be a long-term angle, which is awesome. Hope they don't drop the ball here, because they have the chance to make a legit main eventer (Barrett) plus make some other guys in the group (Bryan) look really strong.
