If I may expand apon this thought. Also, you know what a real surprise is? Not even telling me there is going to be a surprise.
Hearing "WAIT TILL YOU SEE THIS SHOCKING TURN OF EVENTS AT SLAMFEST 2010, IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND," sets up a sense of this needs to be huge and game changing, and by this point, nothing they can do short of the immossible like bringing out HHH and Shane McMahon would do that, or killing a guy.
They need to learn from nWo, instead of trying to copy nWo. You know what made nWo great? One day Scott Hall just shows up and says "You know who I am, but you don't know why I'm here," then declares war on WCW. That is a real surprise.
