QUICK THOUGHT ON THE BRYAN DANIELSON (NO NEED TO USE THE RIDICULOUS NAME ANY MORE) SITUATION

By Dave Scherer on 2010-06-12 19:02:23
There is an old (and I mean OLD) saying that "Politics makes for strange bedfellows". Well, unfortunately for wrestling fans, we are living proof that this is true. Whether it was Linda's campaign itself or someone who came on board with PGWWE after the company swore that they were doing program for kids, the fact remains that last Tuesday morning, everyone in WWE was really happy with the angle from Monday's Raw (including Vince McMahon himself). By Friday night, someone got to Vince McMahon and made him edit footage, and Bryan Danielson was no longer employed. If there was ever a reason for Vince and Linda McMahon to realize that turning their back on what made them rich and look outside of the family for personal validation was the wrong thing to do, this is it. Well, that is if they really care about their wrestlers the way that they say that they do.
When Linda loses the election, well if she loses the election, if Danielson hasn't moved on, they owe him a big contract for being a political fall guy in a situation he didn't even think he was in.
That's all. I am just pretty ticked about how this all went down and needed to vent.
