I didn't say Portugal didn't play well, my problem was with 'red hot'. Which I figured you'd have worked out from my first sentence. And yes, for Greece, it was a lot of luck. An anomoly. Only thing that's come close was Denmark in 1992 and then there were only 8 teams, they had a couple of legit quality players, a decent supporting cast and Peter Schmeichel. If they replayed Euro 2004, I believe 99 times out of 100 Greece don't win it.
And I bought it up to point out the correlation between how they play now and how they played when they had their only real success (aka the same). Not go back and forth about the specifics of the tournament.
