It was pretty exciting when my area picked it up on cable. That's when they used to show reruns of actual quality science fiction movies and shows, and a lot of great "making of" documentaries. They also showed old monster movies and MST3K/B-Movies.
Monster-Vision late nights on TNT was also incredible.
They should have stuck to that style, since producing original programming shouldn't be done unless it's going to be good.
I think there seems to be some kind of following for the stuff they churn out though. I honestly think I heard that more people watch their original movies and programming than classic material.
