The fact that the industry runs off violence. Simulated, staged, whatever -- true -- but violence. The concept of toning down this violence, and editting the emotions that drive this violence forward with forced insults (I'm getting so sick of hearing "bully"), tones down the product to a point where it just cannot suck you in at bad times, and at the worst can even ruin your suspension of disbelief.
A responsible parent does not look at the WWE as something that can teach its children good morals. The Bellas are still on the arm of a different guest host each week, despite being labelled as "sexy, smart and powerful." The women are still two-dimensional male fantasies, and the problems are still solved with violence rather than intellect and logic. It may be good to have characters that children can relate to and get behind, don't me wrong -- but when the product finds itself betraying its very roots and becoming a paradox in standing against concepts it is based on, it becomes hard to follow.
