- Switching up classes in CoD is akin to switching characters, yes, but if someone uses a single class the entire game I don't see how that's a strike against his skill. In fact if he can make one class work in multiple situations his adaptability should be celebrated.
- The Rock Band analogy might work if it's a competition that forces people to play Face-Offs
with each instrument. But I doubt people would accept such terms.
- The best racers only ever choose a single car to use, particularly in games where a player would have no real reason to use a lesser vehicle. He might need something that handles different, but then I might need another character to handle an opponent in Street Fighter.
Bear in mind this is an argument for people who don't play 5 characters competitively. I got my four, and then I could use Ibuki and Juri adequately if push comes to shove. Alva has who, Abel and Sagat? That's a series right there if they lose all their credits.
