Apparently the Knicks are getting close on signing Amare to a max deal.
Obviously giving him max is risky with his injury concerns but this can only help in getting another big name guy here. And after seeing what other guys that have signed already have gotten Amare getting a max deal isn't surprising. As unlikely as I still think it would be for LeBron to come here, an Amare/LeBron pick and roll would be amazing.
Deal is gonna look pretty bad though if noone else comes with him and we have just Amare for the next 5 years.
