The sample's pretty good. I have a bit of a backlog, but I think I'm picking Wizard's First Rule once I've burned through them.

I can see the complaints about the grammar, but it doesn't bother me that much. It's a few stray sentences here and there that are kind of jarring, but at least it's entertaining as far as the sample goes. Worth buying the book.
