Location-wise it would make better sense to move Minnesota to the West since they are closer than the Rangers (current member) or Royals (realigned plan) but it makes sense to keep them in the Central since they have a stronger rivalry with the other teams in the Central than the Royals.

Only issue I see with the N.L. is no matter where you move a team out of the Central, your still left with a 6-team division for 1 guaranteed playoff spot. Might be better to have 4 divisions of 4 teams each and scrap the Wild Card to have anything be "fair" in terms of spots but MLB isn't strong enough to add 2 more teams to the AL to make it happen.
