I am sorry to read this but I am not surprised. I have been a wrestling fan since I was a child, and my biggest gripe about WWE is the way they treat the people who leave there. Vince will eventually cut his own throat if he continues to do this. Shawn deserves every accolade and every bit of respect/consideration that can possibly be afforded to him-he has more than earned it. I am thankful that at least Shawn was not humiliated before he left as so many have been, like Vickie G. or Mickie James to name but a few.

P.S. I am a new member here, this is my first post. It seems like a great site and I look forward to getting acquainted with everyone.
