Raven: Another amazing match from the flippity-flop boys. Seems like Homicide just can't catch a break, this is his second loss since coming to DWW.
Joel Gertner: Good showing by Amazing Red and for once Primo didn't look too awful.
Raven: Next up we have the team of Morrison and Kingston facing off against MVP and Sharkboy. What's up with this pairing?
Joel Gertner: Apparently after last week's defeat at the hands of the British Tigers MVP had enough of JTG and Alicia Fox. Shark Boy and MVP have been known to be pretty friendly in the locker room so this isn't really that surprising. Sort of reminds me of Balls Mahoney and Spike Dudley only if Balls Mahoney could wrestle.
Match Summary:
“Gold Digger” by Kanye West begins to play and MVP, trailed by Shark Boy, makes his entrance to a good deal of fan support. Kofi comes out to “One Love” and John Morrison comes out to “People are Strange”.
Before the match begins strange unidentifiable Japanese music begins to play and an unusual symbol appears on the Wrong-O-Tron. Both teams look confused before the match starts with Morrison and MVP locking up.
They grapple for just a moment before MVP whips Morrison into the ropes, he bounces off and goes for a clothesline and misses bouncing off the opposite ropes and stopping himself just short of an MVP standing drop-kick. With MVP down, Morrison drops an elbow onto the solar-plexis before getting to his feet and performing a picture-perfect standing moonsault for a pin, MVP kicks out at 2 with Shark Boy not making an attempt for the save and instead running back and forth from ring-post to ring-post trying to get the fans behind him and MVP.
Morrison tags out to Kofi who charges full speed towards MVP who counters with a flapjack. He jumps and makes the tag with Shark Boy who enters the ring via a top rope senton on the recovering Kofi. Shark Boy circles the ring making the shark-fin sign with his hand. Kofi groggily gets to his feet in time for brutal knee-lift that opens a cut on the side of his face.
Shark Boy seeing the blood goes crazy, kicks Kofi in the gut and nails a stunner for the pin. Kofi kicks out at 2.
Shark Boy comes off the ropes and Kofi counters with a back drop which he follows up with the Boom Drop.
Kofi goes for the pin and it's broken up by a rolling senton from MVP at the 2 count.
Kofi tags out ot Morrison who nearly knocks Shark Boy out with a spinning heel-kick. Morrison locks on a half-crab and as MVP enters the ring for the save drops the hold and nails MVP with a Nitro Blast (from the past). Shark Boy rolls the distracted Morrison up for a 2 count.
Morrison manages to whip Shark Boy into the corner before tagging Kofi back in. Morrison then whips Shark Boy towards Kofi at the turnbuckle who nails the Pendulum Kick then climbs to the top turnbuckle to launch a crossbody pin! MVP goes to break it up but, Morrison stops him with a leg-tackle for the 3 count.
12 minutes 45 seconds
After the match Kofi and Morrison shake hands with MVP and Shark Boy and exit through the crowd much to the fans' delight. MVP is looking somewhat pissed off as he and Shark Boy exit the ring together.
Raven: So MVP's new alliance has yet to pan out.
Joel Gertner: Up next we have
Rhino in an another Anything Goes match against Rob Terry of the British Tigers. You know, I get that he's trying to earn a title match and he's pretty tough as proven by his days as the ECW World Heavyweight Champion but, if he keeps putting himself in these matches how much is he going to have left if he finally does face The Miz at SummerBANG'10?
Match Summary:
Rob Terry along with Magnus and Daffney come out to "Golden Years" by David Bowie. The fans shit all over them as they throw abuse at the audience at the
Jacksonville, Florida Veterans Memorial Arena. Suddenly the lights go out and
"Bring the Pain" by Method Man begins to play, Rhino enters with several spotlights following him to the ring, the crowd reaction is considerably greater than his one from last week.
Rob Terry and Rhino start things off with a staredown. Magnus breaks the silence with a
chair-shot to the back of Rhino who doesn't even seem to notice. Magnus drops the chair and exits the ring clearly in shock. Terry hits a
running clothesline on Rhino but fails to take him off his feet.
Rhino grabs Terry in a waist-lock picks him up and slams him down with an Alabama Slam. Mount punches ensue and now it's Daffney in the ring with a singapore cane,
*whack*, but Rhino just stands up and forces her out of the ring through pure terror.
Terry gets to his feet and nearly knocks Rhino's head off with a chair-shot to the back of the skull. Rhino is dazed but still standing. Terry wraps his hand around Rhino's throat.
Chokeslam!
Magnus comes off the top-turnbuckle with a
double-foot stomp (Warrior's Way) as Daffney sets up a table on the outside right up against the ring. Terry and Magnus bump fists in celebration...a little too soon as Rhino gets back to his feet with nary a sign of injury. Rhino then grabs Magnus, knees him in the groin and
snap-powerbombs him onto the steel chair.
Terry looks at Rhino in complete shock allowing himself to become victim to a brutal GORE, GORE GORE! Rhino puts a foot on his chest for the
3 count.
5 Minutes 14 seconds
After the match Daffney is in the ring helping Magnus to his feet when Rhino grabs the
singapore cane and knocks Magnus out. Daffney tries to run but Rhino grabs her by the hair. The fans begin to chant "TABLE!" and a look of rage appears on Rhino's face. He pulls her over the ring ropes and destroys her with a
Rhino-driver through the very table she set up mere moments before. With the British Tigers completely destroyed in the ring Rhino calls for a mic.
Raven: It's been a while since I've seen that kind of squash match and post-match beatdown. I have to admit it's kind of-
Joel Gertner: Turning you on too, eh?
Raven: That's not what I was going to say.
[Rhino catches the mic and walks to the center of the ring.]
Rhino: Miz,
If I have to run through this entire locker-room to get to you...I will. If I have to
GORE GORE GORE!!! every last person in this building...
I will.
If I have to...
I will. I will, I will I will BEAT YOU WITHIN AN INCH OF YOUR LIFE...if I have to.
[Rhino drops the mic and exits the ring as "Bring the Pain" by Method Man begins to play. The fans are divided in their response, some choosing to cheer on the psychopath and others just watching in disturbed silence.]
