1. John Morrison
His forced face run is seeming to dry the guy up, but the guy is just so amazing to watch in the ring. He's got mic skills when he's not awkwardly trying to suck up to crowds. He'll be one of those stupid releases if it ever happens. Imagine him in TNA, though. Kurt Angle vs. John Hennigan? I'll be there.
2. Matt Hardy
Of all the mid-card guys the WWE has, Matthew Moore Hardy probably makes the most money. Creatively, losing him might not be the worst blow to the company, but he's probably one of the only mid-card guys that could financially hurt the WWE somewhat. Jeff & Matt together are probably an even bigger draw than either of those guys seperately, and I guarantee a Hardy Boyz reunion in TNA if Matt was ever released. Those guys feuding with Beer Money, The Motor City Machine Guns, Generation Me and even Ink, Inc. is money.
3. Kofi Kingston
This guy can just do it all. He's young, he can talk, and pretty much every one of his matches is good. If he shows up in TNA as Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah, then he'll be another case of The Pope, I feel. People will connect to him, he'll have great matches, and it won't crush the WWE -- but it'll be a "What the fuck were you thinking?" scenario.
4. Dolph Ziggler
Maybe it's just because I am so high on the dude, but I think Ziggler is a guy who just "gets it." His ring work is better than average, and he's not horrible on the mic. He may not be amazing when cutting promos, but I feel that if you gave him a live mic he'd be able to be entertaining enough. His real name is better than his WWE name, too. Something about Ziggler, too, is that I find he builds credibility really easily. Some guys just struggle with it, but you give Ziggler a few wins and he looks like a world-beater. I'd love to see him and Kurt Angle have a feud.
5. David Hart Smith
This is a bit of a weird one. I was torn between Smith, Santino Marella and Christian. I basically feel that DH Smith could be a huge star. The guy is only 23, and he's already better in the ring than most guys in the business. That he's got some size to him, has a legacy and is not without charisma only helps his case. Didn't he also train in some MMA with Chris Barnett or something, too? This guy could be put over as a huge beast, and the idea of him working pretty much anyone in TNA is pretty exciting. I honestly feel that he could be a really big catch for whatever company gets him now that he has had some WWE exposure.
