It's not like they're arent trying. They locked themselves in two of the worst contracts in baseball. They arent moving Soriano or Zambrano unless they're paying for about 80% of them. There farm system has been decent, but nothing amazing.
Cubs fans arent content with losing. They'd go fucking crazy if the Cubs were winning. But they dont bandwagon the team. They dont stop coming cause they're losing. They keep coming because they love the game, They support the team and they love being drunk in the bleachers
