If they cut out the second hand market (which is what they're doing here) they'll lose gamers on a whole.

How should they do it? I'd bump the price down at least $10 for all games, for starters. For example, why an 8 hour game is the same price as an 80+ hour game is beyond me.

Secondly, definitely embrace DLC, as they're doing. DLC is something extra that everyone can purchase for a reasonable fee (arguably). Online play is not something "extra", and if it is, the price of the game should reflect that. Ditto to anything that isn't important to gameplay.

People buy used because new games are too expensive. If they bump games down or put them on a sliding scale in terms of how much play time you'll get out of it people would buy new games more. It's as simple as that.
