Haven't watched a full Mets game since the one I went to a couple weeks ago. It's weird, last year they were even worse than they are now and last year I actually had playoff expectations for them, yet I still watched pretty much every game in full despite every good player being injured.

Guess I'm just tired of another year of the same poor play and off-field drama. They're actually on track to finish right around .500, which I predicted going into the year...but it still sucks cause they were 10 games over .500 and right in the thick of the race until the ASB.

Doubt 2011 will be much different since they won't be able to unload any of their bad contracts and are hamstrung by the budget...but I know I'll still be excited on Opening Day when they get a clean slate again (and hopefully Wally Backman in the dugout).
