I would probably end up falling over with laughter if I did. Now, I have seen a lot of occasions where someone's full name is crossed out in tape. I can see it now.
Fan: I fucking hate Johnny Damon I still have his Jersey oh I know I'll cross out his name with tape. Yeah, that's a good idea. Wait a minute I am almost out of tape and I don't really wanna go to the store and pick up more. I know I'll just cross out one letter with the tape. I am a genius.
