I do agree that Brock Lesnar is the only legitimate guy who could come in and pop ratings huge. I think he's take with him a pretty large fanbase, or would just generate enough interest to the product again. This is more if he left on the top of his UFC game, and didn't get made to look foolish before he left and re-signed with the WWE. If he comes in as "The Biggest Bad-Ass on the Planet" he would probably be the biggest acquisition of all. But that won't happen.

Otherwise, Kurt Angle would be my pick for quality, whereas The Rock and Austin have been draws, but I'm not sure if they still have it in them. Even if Austin were hypothetically in ring shape. I do think ratings would spike, but you have to keep in mind that these guys were around when the Attitude era died, and the WWE had obviously come out of being a pop-culture phenomenon. I do think that The Rock and Austin would now have a nostalgia feel to them, and assuming they had some great matches left in them, would be amazing assets to the company.

Right now, though, the WWE seems to promote itself more than it does its top stars. It's all about how the WWE is a global empire, they have been around so long, etc. What they need to really fit this is a guy who legitimises their status as where the biggest and boldest go. Brock Lesnar would truly be the best choice, in my opinion, if that's the case.
