It does have regen health, dissapointing in that respect.
Also you can only carry 2 weapons at a time, apparently that was designed with controllers in mind, George Broussard said they went through a few designs for the controllers to have the old weapons system of duke 3d and it just wasn't comfortable, so its carried over to the pc version as well.
