IMO, if you miss the deadline there has to be some kind of punishment, otherwise there's no point having deadlines. Hence, why I stayed awake til 5am to get my show in ASAP (24hrs after deadline).

People (DttS) might say I've taken all this too seriously, what can I say, I'm a stickler for "playing by the rules".

And I do think the downtime has effected interest. There was a massive dip when Show 3 took an extra week to get posted.
Yeah. I doubt anybody playing would say "there are deadlines? how fucking dare you make deadlines in a fun game!" Even with shit going on in your life it shouldn't take that long to make a show, work on it a little bit for a couple nights and bam - it's done.

A game like this thrives on interest and participation. The interest has been so low the last two weeks that I'm not sure it was even worth the effort to write the shows.
