So who is the AL MVP this year? Cabrera would be an easy choice but he's on a floundering 3rd place team. Same with Beltre. Bautista would be a nice story but only two MVPs in MLB history have hit under .270 and one of them was Roger Maris in his 61 season. Hamilton might not be back until the postseason so he'd have to win based on his stats right now. Cano will lose votes because of A-Rod and Tex having more RBIs.

I guess right now I'd have to say Hamilton, but I don't say that with much confidence.
