The whole point of the MITB is to be the ultimate opportunist and cash it in at the best opportunity. Miz would be a (kayfabe) fool to actually give his opponent time to prepare for the match. It would also make him a bigger heel than ever to cash in on a Cena, HHH, or Orton to close out the biggest event of the year.
