You're being far too critical. If you dislike the show/want to prove that you aren't 'caught up in the hype', just say so. Sure, the characters are all a bit cliched but it doesn't matter because they all 'work' so well together and are perfect for the situation/s. As for slating the dialogue/banter, what were you expecting, some kind of Wes Anderson witfest? And do I not recall you once praising Skins? Come on bloke
