Yeah, Felix should probably win the damn thing. Unfortunately, I'm almost willing to bet that he'll be third. Price and Sabathia will finish ahead of him due to wins. No way should Sabathia beat Price though. If that happens, wins are once again the only thing the voters care about.
Likewise, I was watching MLB Network last night and one of the commentators said Pujols can no longer be in consideration for the MVP award because his team fell apart. Really? Not saying he should or shouldn't win the MVP but this notion that the MVP HAS to be on a contending playoff team has always bugged me. They only seem to make an exception if there is no "clear-cut" winner from a playoff team.
