Back to the No Mercy menu music, I used to be convinced it was supposed to be some remix of The Rock's theme that got scrapped, so it became a production theme that was picked up by the programmers. Kinda like how the old Hardcore/Crash/Molly Holly theme is used in Spike TV bumps, or the 1st WWE Shane Helms theme was used in a commercial for Yu-gi-oh.
