What would be really good is if the show a progression week after week like...

Barrett wants Cena to beat people up Cena refuses to and is threatened to be fired so he beats people up to prevent from getting fired but Cena's not happy with what he's done...

to

Barrett wants Cena to beat people up he hesitates to beat them up but eventually does what Barrett says and doesn't like what he's done.

Barrett wants Cena to beat people up he does what Barrett says and beats them up but still isn't happy.

to

Barrett wants Cena to beat people up he does so and seems almost happy about it.

to

Cena cuts a promo saying he feels like a new man with Nexus. He knows what he's feeling is wrong but doesn't know if he can help it. Later that night Barrett asks him to beat someone up Cena refuses until Barrett threatens to get him fired. Cena goes out and takes someone completely out. He goes way to far and puts someone on the shelf for a long time. Raw ends with him over this obliterated opponent smiling.

to

Cena beats up enemies of Nexus without being prompted by Barrett cuts a promo where he says "If this is wrong I don't want to be right."

to

Cena beats up people that aren;t even enemies of Nexus.

to

Cena becomes a loose cannon that starts costing Nexus matches by his crazy attitude. Barrett tries to reign him in but Cena can't help but beat up everyone in sight and lay waste to the WWE.

to

Barrett releases Cena from his obligations with Nexus because he's too much of a liability due to his unstable attitude.

to

Cena does downright dispicable things to Raw's top babyface
