If it is Vickie then it would make sense as to why
she had taken it out on Edge .

Vickie Guerrero would be a great choice for RAW to counteract Teddy Long over at SmackDown!. Stephanie McMahon, on the other hand, would have to get back in shape before reappearing on TV, as she just had another kid.
