There's a couple positives the Reds can take from yesterday. Or at least there are several negatives that can be spun as positives. I think it was fairly obvious the Phillies were going to win game 1. They had the best pitcher in baseball going at home. The fact that it was a no hitter is nice, but in the end it doesn't matter whether the Reds had 15 hits or 0. A loss is a loss. After Volquez left in the 2nd inning, the Reds pitchers gave up 1 hit the rest of the way to a terrifying Phillies lineup. Every player besides Halladay and Victorino was unproductive.

I just hope Dusty keeps the team focused. He did it after that Cardinals series in July when everyone thought the Reds were done and hopefully he can do it again. Just gotta remind everyone that even if Halladay throws another no hitter the next time he pitches, the Reds can still win the series.

Thinking Phillies in 4 though.
