I'm not suggesting that Benjamin should win the World title (before he wins the IC title).

Benjamin would obviously 'job' to Benoit in his match(es). However the main-event 'rub' would establish credibility in the fans' eyes (and also erase any doubts of his victories over Triple H being a fluke).

Once he's done this, then he can go for the IC title and get a solid reign.
