I said years ago that Total Recall would be a good film to be remade and I stand by that. Few weeks ago I read they are planning one now.

Just think with a decent director and writer, and with enough money behind it, they could really make a good sci-fi/action film, which is a genre that needs a title other than Star Trek to lead the way. I think the Mars sets could look awesome, and with today's CGI, just seems like it could be one insane movie to remake.

Dunno about the lead casting though - I def do not think Sam Worthington would be a good choice, since he seems to be the next action star.
