I can see that being the case, though. I think the best way to go about it is to really play forward the reform thing. MVP as a babyface could really work if they pushed him as a guy who was stuck in a rut, but then found out he was good at something and made A LOT of money doing that. Give him some of his ego back, let him dress nicely, etc.

It's fair enough that the company may not want to give him a World Title right now, but you can build up MVP to being a contender, or have him in a few memorable feuds. A big problem with MVP is that his feuds often seem to be so...watery. I'd like to see a deeply engaging feud for MVP. One with CM Punk would have been awesome.
