David Otunga can probably grow into a great persona and a great talent over time. The guy seems to really want to be a wrestler, he's got a look, he's sleeping with an Academy Award winner, and he's intelligent and well-spoken (if not exactly a great promo). The guy's only problem is that he is far too green. But I hope for a journey of improvement like we've seen with The Miz.

It makes sense that they label him as the second-in-command of the group, since he was NXT runner-up. But I think he should step more into a manager sort of role for the group, while he is training, and only be used for the occasion match here and there, or for big clusterfuck tags. As someone said, Justin Gabriel is the next-best to Barrett in terms of overall ability, and he should have been given the Tag Team Titles with Cena. But after RAW, I guess they just want to pad the resumes of the Nexus guys.

In terms of ability, I'd put Otunga right at the bottom of the current Nexus guys. It's obvious the WWE wants him to be a star, though. He's nowhere near ready for that.
