I thought it would just be a way to segue things into Cody and Drew having singles careers, but maybe the WWE has a masterstroke here. What if Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre each get a new tag team partner? For example: Curt Hawkins just broke up with Vance Archer. While I'd love to see Curt Hawkins get a singles push, things are just too packed right now. Rhodes & Hawkins would make sense since they both feel that their partners were "holding them back." Drew McIntyre & Vance Archer would make a weird tag team, but they both have that "silent killer" type gimmick going.
The other possibility is that Rhodes gets Goldust as a new tag team partner. Drew McIntyre & Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust? That would have some story behind it.
Other than that, the show sounds good:
* The Triple Threat makes sense, because while Edge and Rey Mysterio were the sole survivors, having the two face off could damage Edge's momentum as a face. Having a heel in there gives them someone to root against. I'd have preferred to have seen all the members of Team SmackDown! get a chance to compete for a shot at the title, though.
* Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler really didn't need to be done again. Ziggler has now lost three times to the US Champion. I guess this is good for Bryan, and the storyline is going somewhere for Ziggler, though. Bryan wrestling on SmackDown! is a good thing. While I do wish brand lines were more defined, it's probably good business for "recogniseable stars" to be on SmackDown!. That's right, I just called Daniel Bryan a "recogniseable star." I thought that was where they were going with John Cena & David Otunga winning the WWE Tag Team Titles; but that was wrong. *cough*
* Jack Swagger is a former World Heavyweight Champion that needs some momentum built. Kaval and he apparently had a great match. This is not a burial of Kaval. I'd have preferred to have seen Jack Swagger (as well as Tyler Reks, Big Show and Kofi Kingston) in the main event, and Kaval face someone like Curt Hawkins (who for now is a singles guy), but whatever.
* The Divas stuff will be Divas stuff.
* The only good thing coming out of the tag team match will be the aforementioned scenario where McIntyre & Rhodes find new tag team partners, or if we get Big Show & Kofi Kingston challenging for the WWE Tag Team Titles. The match itself sounds good, and Show & Kofi could work as a tag team. Kofi is great at taking a beating, and Show is great at giving them out. Perfect for a face tandem. I'd like to see them challenge Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater for the titles at Survivor Series.
* Kane vs. Edge is a match that I'd like to see. I'm not about to pay money for it, but Edge has been working really well on SmackDown!, and Kane is the most credible he has arguably ever been. To be honest, I'm thinking they switch the title to Edge, but Kane loses nothing from that. It's just the case of Edge having more to lose by not winning; unless it segues into another feud, which could work.
Alberto Del Rio also sounds like a bad-ass actually wanting a piece of Kane.
