No way possible for it to be on a PS3 due to rights of the game belonged to Nintendo, Rare (and Microsoft), Activision (owns the MGM rights). Even if Sony had bought out MGM, the old contract still wouldn't let them get the game.

Most likely they are going to be using the same servers Treyarch does for the Wii with Call of Duty which are pretty good.

Biggest issue with the game is going to be how much of the single player gets changed story-wise although the level with the Tank has been reported to be much better than in the original.
