It would be interesting to have AI learning how you did your other battles but it seems a little strange to force a player to abandon their chosen play style and adopt another in a game about freedom of choice.
Playing as a melee character and doing a fetch quest for the preorder villager that requires you to get something near a bandit camp when the AI is all range attack is not pretty. I swear the enemies where never ending and that the larger enemy with the cigar kept showing up. I'd kill him but then two more would spawn from nowhere. I was near death so often that, in the end, I just had to grab whatever it was I had to grab and run.
Combat is fine, I think. I really like some of the new finishers. The hammer finishers can make you wince and others are just plain cool. Has anyone else had their Hero put an enemy in a sort of full nelson type move and break the enemies neck? I've had it happen about 3 times, now, at random. It's not a weird glitch because he lifts the arms, you hear the neck snap and everything.
I liked the Fable II combat so I'm glad it's not changed much.
I'm hoping a patch is out ASAP. 1 DLC area/quest is already complete but I'm guessing there will be more.
Edit: Think I've come up with names, finally. Lugh's Hammer (Celtic god of war) and Morrigan's Rifle (Celtic godess of war).
Also, found out Rhiannon is the Welsh goddess of birds, horses, enchantments, fertility and the underworld. Random.
