Not sure if he's a "star" but Jeff Hardy has always ben a fan favorite because of his willingness to do dangerous spots. And his androgenous/boy band looks. He's like the 98 Degrees of wrestling...hardcore wrestling fans hate him because he's sloppy (hence the RoH reaction) but most WWE fans are more mainstream and would lose their minds if he showed up to baikl Matt & Lite out somehow.
Of course, they could also re-introduce him as helping Kane out to get back on Matt & Lita for "abondoning him" and you would get a decent heel reaction.
Gawd, imagine the shitty acting in aseries of vignettes featuring Lita
AND Jeff Hardy.
