To be fair, Black Ops was released on more systems than Modern Warfare 2 but the numbers per console are a bit higher than MW2 was for Xbox 360 and PS3.

5.6 million for Black Ops vs 4.7 million for MW2.
And the next Call of Duty game will beat out Black Ops, and the next 3D Transformers movie will beat out Avatar, and so will anything and everything as things get more exposure.
