After watching this I'm even more upset over how poorly 6 was made.

The pacing in this was okay for me. It did feel a little long when they were in the woods but I guess it's just because I know what's going to happen and I'm impatient. As long as the next one is full of action, then I really don't mind this one being as slow as it was. I understand the drama they're trying to set up but it's been almost 6 hours of boring shit. The battle in the last movie will have be huge to redeem the pace of the last 2 movies. Great nude almost-sex-scene with Emma Watson too.

This one didn't "blow me away", it just made me more disappointed in how 6 turned out. 6 could have really been a turning point for the movie series. They completely cut out the parts that explain Voldermort's childhood and how and why he becomes evil. It would be like doing the Star Wars episodes 1-3 but without explaining why and how Anakin became Darth Vader. Instead we'll focus on some love story involving Obi-Wan. ugh. What a terrible decision. 6 could have really been the darkest of the series with Part 1 focusing on them running and part 2 on them fighting.

And I can't possibly understand how those who haven't read the books and only seen the movies aren't tremendously confused by now.
