Those are both obviously lifted from the success of Iron Man, I think. That's not hard to recognize. I think I even commented on that earlier in this thread.
But Cracked, as usual, is making huge stretches to act like they have shit figured out to a tee. It's ridiculous.
Like an over-the-shoulder shot of a crash site. That's because over the shoulder shots are used to communicate the image of a character discovering something in basically every film.
Or saying a character in a wheelchair is a ripoff of Stryker's kid from X-Men? Come on.
And answering the call of duty isn't a rehashed storyline in superhero movies. It's just a staple of superhero storytelling.
It's like saying characters seeking revenge in westerns or kung fu movies is a ripoff.
And calling them out for having a shot of the superhero flying majestically? Lol. Apparently the guy has never opened up a comic book.
