Eddie and Benoit were both equally shocking, but I gotta give the edge to Eddie solely because it came first. It was the first "major" wrestling death in a long while. I wasn't expecting to log on that day and find that one of my favorite wrestlers was dead.
Benoit's was more of a "oh fuck, is this really happening again?" type thing
