He's a positional fighter. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you he's a must watch awe inspiring fighter, but he's fucking phenomenal at what he does (dry humping). At the end of the day though, if someone is holding you down and neutralizing you like ur a 3 year old, ur losing the fight and he's winning the fight.
I understand your apparent disdain for his style IC, but the guy is a top tier fighter and has a better record in the octagon than Penn does. He's probably the exact opposite of Penn, blessed with no real talent but a work ethic that goes beyond the realm of fathomable, Fitch doesn't break, and Penn has shown quite a few times he does.
Even Fitch getting viciously pummelled by GSP, the guy kept getting back up, because unlike some who just say it to sound hard, the dude legitimately will fight to the death.
Also Funky, I think it is extremely extremely difficult to choke Fitch out.... he's been caught in a few tight situations, where 99 per cent would have gone out, and he fought through it... he's kind of a freak.
At the same time BJ Penn could go in there and mow him down... I'm just saying to count a guy out cuz he's a bit of a dry humper does not take into account the actual skills he has, because to me, really... he's a favourite in this fight.
