Here is how I would personally book the tournament:

First Round:

* Daniel Bryan over Alberto Del Rio via submission. Many people expect Alberto Del Rio to take the tournament, but I think it would be quite shocking of Del Rio were eliminated in the first round. By submission, no less. Give these guys fifteen minutes in the opening match, and time to tell a story.

* Drew McIntyre over "Dashing" Cody Rhodes via pinfall. These two are former Tag Team Champions together, so I hope that is enough heat for them to work. For those who won't notice, the brackets are arranged alphabetically, just for the hell of it (with Cody registering "Dashing" as his name in the tournament). McIntyre gets the clean victory with the Future Shock, but Rhodes gets a chance to look good, as well.

* John Morrison over Ezekiel Jackson via pinfall. Morrison and Jackson shake hands before the match, and Morrison is hopefully talented enough to really carry Jackson towards an entertaining first round match. Morrison manages to drill Jackson with a Flying Chuck to get the pinfall and advance over Michael Cole's "darkhorse" pick to win the whole thing.

* Kofi Kingston over Sheamus via pinfall. The Celtic Warrior does not need the win here, and Kofi gets so much from going over Sheamus cleanly. Kingston and Sheamus would have what I assume would be an entertaining match, and they can continue to play up Sheamus' "bad luck" recently.

Semi-Finals:

* Drew McIntyre over Daniel Bryan via pinfall. A bitter loser in Alberto Del Rio makes his presence known during this match, and costs Bryan his spot in the tournament. That would fit Del Rio's gimmick, and would keep Bryan looking strong without him needing to go through into the finals.

* John Morrison over Kofi Kingston via pinfall. The two guys again shake hands, and Morrison and Kingston work what would hopefully be a really exciting match. I see the finish coming down to a series of roll-ups, where Morrison eventually keeps Kofi down for the three count. Kofi gets to look pretty strong in his loss, and beat a two-time WWE Champion to get to where he was.

Finals:

* John Morrison over Drew McIntyre via pinfall to become the 2010 King of the Ring. Morrison gets the feel good victory, and McIntyre gets to make it to the finals. Morrison gets the pin, hopefully with a move like the Superkick, just to give him something more...impactful than Starship Pain.
