"It's the biggest butt-whipping I've taken in a coach, in my career. ... They out-executed us, they outcoached us. ... I thought we were going to have a huge game and it was just the opposite. ... I came in to kick [Bill Belichick’s] butt and he kicked mine.”
Besides, the Jets got their asses kicked in Foxborough last year around this time and still made it 2 rounds further than New England, so we'll just have to see come January.

Ugh. It's stupid to me still. It doesn't matter if he backed it up. He shouldn't be such a fuckstick anyways. Even coaches with multiple rings don't do that. It's just shitty.
And he hasn't backed it up. I don't agree with that either. They haven't won shit. Not trying to be a "dickhead" here, but having a good regular season record over 2 years doesn't really mean anything. At all.
I actually can't believe them or anyone would get "gassed" about that.
Patriots policy seems to be to hammer home that they "haven't accomplished anything until they win the SuperBowl."
I heard Brady say that today and avoid getting gassed. Same goes for Bellicheck x1,000,000. It doesn't really matter to me if it's what he really thinks. Even if they know they're great and probably going to win, they just take the high road.
Maybe they're more secure because of their past success, but they also had the same approach from the getgo.
Either way it pisses me off.
